Sigh,, I wanna ride the tren de las sierras again soon, it's such a cozy trip. When I first got here the apartment I was staying in didn't have any outward facing windows so my partner and I took a day trip up to Bialet Massé after like a month cause I was going stir crazy. It was still the dead of winter so everything was kinda brown as it tends to be but I'll never forget being completely floored when a bunch of parakeets started flying alongside the train (those do not exist where I'm from outside of being semi-exotic pets), and when we got off we went down and walked around by the river a bit and explored the town some. Very comfy place with a beautiful little river front, very quiet compared to downtown Córdoba. Those days felt so uncertain.
