Destination: The Hyperion II Space Station **The Hyperion II Space Station majority demographics of permanent residence is primarily Chinese. The Station is of lower mid-range in size and holds an estimated 12,000 (documented) in population. Hyperion II orbits Uranus and is a relatively new station - built within the last thirty years after the previous Hyperion SS was destroyed due to a massive ship collision in the docking and refuel bay. The Hyperion II is known for its capitalization of an extensive hydroponics system, leading to high numbers of exports in fresh food. Watch out for pickpockets!
OBJECTIVE: In 24 hours the Argonaut will be docking at a nearby Space Station to refuel and restock the ship’s inventory. Crew members will be assigned objectives in small team efforts to contribute to the ship’s needs. Characters will be able to explore the station at their leisure as long as their assignment is fulfilled. Ship funds are not to be used for personal expenses. Note that the crew does run on a budget and assigned teams are allotted a certain amount of funding. Teams can divvy up tasks within their department and get more specific if you like!
Restock Food and Provisions: In list of most affordable fresh foods to highest in price range as follows: grains, vegetables, preserved meats, farm raised fish, fruit, fowl, fresh milk, fresh eggs, cheese, pork, beef. Dry items such as powdered milk and eggs, spices, flour, etc. are generally pretty affordable. Sale Items: rice, sardines, instant bread, powdered milk/eggs, grapes, pork sausages. Seeds for Hydroponics After recently investing in a small hydroponics system on board the ship, its time to invest in some seeds. What better a place to do so than Hyperion II? Selling ‘Plunder’ (weapons, salvage, etc.) Selling and buying weapons is a tricky business that involves matters of subtly. The Argonaut currently is in possession of two excess crates of guns, a crate of blank paper, and a box of salvaged ship wreck parts incompatible for the Argonaut. TEAM: Dred, Raphael, Cole, Diana
Restock Ship Parts Mechanical and Electrical parts can range from high prices (brand new, unused) to total steals (perusing salvage and wreckage yards). After a close call, the Argonaut is in need of supplies to fix up part of the ship’s exterior as well as some upgrades for the electrical systems. TEAM: Riley, Eliza, Erin
Restock Medical Stores Practical items like bandages, needles, thread, etc. are typically affordable, however pharmaceutical medicine on Hyperion run pretty high. In addition to their high production of fresh fruits and vegetables, the Hyperion is also known for its production of alternative remedies. TEAM: Kaya, Sebastian, Reilly

THIS MISSION IS MANDATORY (SORTA). For this event, we’d like it if everyone could participate! Logistically everyone on board would be required to help in maintaining the ship’s stores and cupboards, so we’d like to emulate that if possible! Missions/Deliveries after this one will follow with voluntary participation. If you for some reason cannot participate due to outside circumstances for the next week-ish, please let us know and we can take your kiddo off their team (nbd if so).
DEADLINE? No specific deadline at this time, we’ll gauge the pace of how people play this one out and decide when the time comes for the Argonaut to take leave of the station later.
