Ariel Cordelia Delmara, 19. Freshman. 

Ariel is the daughter of Triton, king of the underwater kingdom of Atlantica. Triton is extremely wary of humans and holds them in low regard. He doesn’t want them anywhere near his kingdom, which is self-sufficient on the rich resources of the deep ocean floor and has no need for trade... so long as the threat of a changing climate and planet stays at bay. For thousands of years, Atlantica has operated without being discovered by humans, and Triton wants it to stay that way. 

Ariel is the youngest of six girls and absolutely the baby of the family. She’s been spoiled and over-indulged her entire life and it’s now backfiring spectacularly on her father, as Ariel has become obsessed with the human world. No amount of pleading, bargaining, or outright threatening has been able to distract her from her determination to see what the world is like above the water. Now, with the help of her best friend Ursula, Ariel’s dream of turning human has become a reality. The two girls ran away together at the age of 18, made up fake backgrounds for themselves, including falsified secondary school transcripts, and now have against all odds managed to be accepted to Disney University for the fall term. Ariel is ecstatic about her human legs and all of the abilities they bring, and definitely tends to be a *tad* extra in showing off her flexibility, dance moves, toned butt, etc. Her current fixation, apart from meeting and getting to know as many humans as possible and immerse herself in the world, is to make the cheerleading squad at Disney U. 

Ariel is sweet, bubbly, optimistic, outgoing, and well-intentioned. She is also selfish, entitled, unreliable, and deeply naive.

well, you all can call me aylus and i’m blindly throwing myself heads first into this from my corners of pure tales of fandom with my other blog. i’m always overly nervous when trying out new muses on tumblr especially when they’re personified trash cans.
