Magic Story: “Campaign of Vengeance” by Ari Levitch

A grudge a thousand years in the making is coming to a head. For Sorin, it is for the warping of his ancestral home. It is the unmaking of Avacyn. It is the coming of Emrakul. For Nahiri, it is the betrayal of a friend. It is the millennium spent trapped in the Helvault. It is the ruin of Zendikar in her absence. When two ancient Planeswalkers duel, entire planes feel it.

Magic Story: “Promises Old and New” by Ari Levitch

The manor of Olivia Voldaren is hostile territory for Sorin Markov. Avacyn and her mad angels are on an uncontrolled rampage across the provinces, and Olivia still remembers slights from the Markov bloodline going back to the earliest days of the vampire families. But Sorin needs help, which puts him at Olivia’s doorstep.

Magic Story: “Zendikar Resurgent” by the Magic Creative Team

After the harsh clanging of battle come the quiet, simple words between people who’ve experienced a crisis together. This week’s story is the denouement of the Zendikar storyline, a series of four vignettes by Ari Levitch, Doug Beyer, Kelly Digges, and Kimberly Kreines. It’s called “Zendikar Resurgent” and it concludes this chapter of Magic’s story.

We had a great time delivering the Battle for Zendikar and Oath of the Gatewatch storyline to you. We learned a lot in the process of this experience and we’re excited for those lessons to hypercharge Magic’s story into the future. If you have feedback, we’d be happy to hear it!
