Damian gets hit by an Ivy pollen that makes him polite, affectionate, and extremely vulnerable. It’s a terrible violation but also an extremely effective individual-and-family therapy session. This fic to me is one of the best examples of why emotional shortcuts aren’t always a bad thing. All that stuff that would be nice for Damian, and Damian-and-Tim, to open up about? Ivy takes the role of the just-fix-it type of fan, forcing it to happen when the characters wouldn’t choose it. It’d make me the baddie in real life, but it’s still satisfying to get what I want.
