Apparently I haven't checked my inbox in a while, sorry! I guess I haven't updated here yet...but about a week ago, we lost Frank to cancer. We had zero clue he had it, as we were told he had irritable bowel. Nope, colon cancer! He had been to the vet about a week before for having trouble walking on one paw, and they sent us with vitamins for anemia and gave him laser therapy. When we took him to the emergency vet, they were astonished he had just been to a vet. What we thought was bloating was numerous tumors that had spread pretty much through his body and had made it to his lungs, thus his trouble breathing. He didn't have "a little anemia", he had basically no red blood cells . So we had to let him go , as they assured us he wouldn't make it though the afternoon.

One of my fav pics of him. I'm heartbroken, I feel like a failure, but we trusted the vet and I guess we can't do that here at all. We would have still adopted him if we knew he had cancer, but we could have been better prepared/informed. This hit us like a truck. He was only 10. My girl Oreo was 19. All I can do now is try and take care of the fuzzy friends still with us.

Hi. No, it is not bad at all that you are still excited for Zoe. Her route was written by the writters that we are supporting and it is a testament to how good they are that you love Zoe. You love Zoe because of the skill of the writters. Despite the claim of Lovestruck, the company itself only came up with the vague idea of Zoe and her writter gave her life. The writers union themselves asked us not to boycott. You are not hurting their cause or interfering with their strike by reading her.
