Psalm 50:23 (NASB1995) - “He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.”
Sky is just perfect. Like no one can come up with anything negative, we literally had to REACH to find mere morsels. I would melt if sky was the father of my children. Imagine just waking up to his smile and kids on the daily. And like yeah he’d be away building a kingdom on the ground, but he’d always be back at the end of the day for dinner and playtime.
No bc literally this. Even in this batshit world he's still perfect unless he's pushed to the breaking point. Like imagine Sky waking up early and gently cooing the kids awake only to sweep them into the kitchen to make Momma breakfast in bed. Even with his duties on the ground, his first priority is the mother of his children. Always. He's there for breakfast and there for dinner, every day without fail. And when night falls, he makes sure to remind you just how much he appreciates your efforts <3

how did i never post this here
It’s Trevor’s 14th birthday when he has the strangest encounter.
He was just walking down the streets with a whole new twenty dollars in his pockets from his parents. This money was going to be spent on a new game that was released just a few days ago.
When another kid comes running around the corner, crashing into him. There’s a quick exchange of the stranger going ‘sorry!’ and Trevor yelling some curse or another before he’s left alone on the sidewalk once more. He brushes himself off real fast, checks his pockets, and then continues on his way.
He doesn’t make it more than five steps when an adult comes skidding around the same corner and locking eyes onto him. The stranger stalks towards him and Trevor’s hands immediately clutch onto the pocket knife he keeps just in case.
“You think you can just turn a corner and act like you didn’t do anything?” The strange man starts yelling at him as he gets closer. He’s gesturing wildly with his hands and starting to invade on Trevor's personal space. “Give me my damn wallet back before I call the cops on your ass!”
“Wallet? I don’t have a wallet.” Trevor tries to say calmly, but he can’t hide the fear wavering in his voice.
“Empty your pockets!” The man screams at him. With a flinch, he does as the elder man says, turning his pockets inside out to prove he didn’t have his stupid wallet. He watches as the money he had just gotten falls onto the ground and the man’s wrinkled hand snatches it up. “I don’t know what you did with it, but this’ll buy me a new one. Now you better run cause I’m getting the cops down here.”
He shouldn’t because he didn’t do anything wrong, but Trevor turns around and starts to run back home.
It’s Trevor's 14th birthday when he accidentally makes a new friend.
He wasn’t sure where he was running, but he faintly recalls that this is the way that stranger who bumped into him had been going. He quickly turns into an alleyway to take a breather, leaning up against the wall with his hands on his knees and his chest heaving. It’s been ages since he last ran like that.
A small ball of anger starts to form in his chest at that thought. Why on Earth did he run?! He didn’t do anything! And he somehow lost his birthday money! All because some guy couldn’t see well enough to know who actually robbed him?!
No way was he going to let this slide. Nope. He was going to find that kid and demand to get at least twenty dollars from that man’s wallet to replace what he had lost. And probably give the kid a hard lesson in getting into trouble.
So he sets off on his mission to find this mysterious stranger who he had seen for a total of five seconds. It takes the better part of two hours of mindlessly wandering the streets, looking into alleyways, and holding onto his knife for dear life. Until he’s just about to give up and glances over to a convenience store to see that boy slinking out of the doors while stuffing some candy into his pockets.
Trevor sets out in a quick jog to catch up to the stranger. “Hey!” He calls out and watches as the boy tenses for a quick second before slowly turning around. Trevor slows in his steps as he takes in the features of the boy who was probably his age. They look eerily alike with the exception of this kid being a bit darker than Trevor and the baggy clothes that can’t quite hide how skinny and underfed he is. Suddenly that whole encounter with the man makes a bit more sense.
“Because of you, I just lost twenty dollars to some old man thinking I stole his wallet! I want my money back!” He demands. The stranger looks slightly confused before realization dawns onto his face.
“Look man, I’m sorry about that. But I, uh. I already spent it.”
“On candy? You bought $20 worth of candy? Seriously?” Trevor asks with a frown. The other boy glances around them nervously as he tries to think of an answer.
“What do you think you’re doing?! Give me what you stole, you dirty thief!” Another voice comes from behind them. Trevor turns to the side to see a young woman stalking towards them pointing angrily between the two of them. He can practically feel the kid tense up and get ready to bolt so Trevor squares his shoulders and puffs out his chest a little as he steps in front of her, cutting her off from stepping any closer to the other boy.
“I don’t know what you think you’re accusing us of here. My brother here just went in to use the bathroom. We didn’t steal anything from you,” he says as he crosses his arms. He has to fight to not turn around to see the look on the other’s face because he can feel two sets of eyes on him pinning him to his spot.
“I saw him leave and stuffing something into his pockets! I know he stole something!” She points a menacing finger towards him and Trevor narrows his eyes. He tries to recall his parents' words in these situations, tries to figure out how to throw this woman off.
“Is it because he’s darker than you? Is that what this is? Some brown kid coming into your store so you have to accuse him of stealing? Who’s your manager? I want to talk to them right this instance.” That got the adult stepping away from him in shock, a hand going up to her chest as she openly gapes at him.
“That has nothing to do with this!” She tries.
“So if it had been me in there, you’re telling me you would think I stole something too?” He accuses but doesn’t give her time to answer as he then flips around to link his arm into the boy’s and starts walking away. “I hope you reconsider your way of thinking, lady!” He calls back to her.
The two walk in silence for a minute until they know they’re safe from the woman or the cops before they stop and start laughing. “Did you see her face? Oh my goodness, where did that even come from?!” The boy giggles out, offering a chocolate bar with a grin.
“I don’t know! It just happened!” Trevor admits, taking it with a smile that matches the other’s.
“Name’s Alfredo. Thanks for that.”
“Trevor. You’re not a very good thief, are you? That’s the second time you’ve been caught today that I’m aware of.” Alfredo stumbles for his words as Trevor lets out a laugh. “I’m kidding. Kind of,” he hums out as his eyes take in the sight before him again. With a nod of his head, he links arms once again. “Come on. I’m taking you home and gonna get you some real food to eat.”
“Wha- no that’s okay!” Alfredo tried to break out of his hold but Trevor is relentless.
“Don’t worry. You can give me that twenty and we’ll call it even.”
It’s Trevor’s 14th birthday when he finds himself a new big brother.
To the ‘Titans’ fans:
Yesterday a photo of me on set leaked online. And it was unfortunate because fans have been waiting MONTHS for a photo of ‘Starfire’ and a sloppy (😐) photo of me on a curb in 15 degree weather is what they got instead 😂 For the sake of our incredible fans - I hated that this is the first picture people are seeing. It’s out of context and it’s a misrepresentation of the incredible character I get to play. And also a misrepresentation of the phenomenal production behind it all. With that said - the hate speech that followed was deplorable.
And though I am highly unbothered 💅🏿 I do want to use this as an opportunity to say that tearing people down is not something that I tolerate. For myself or anyone else. Too often social media is abused by some who find refuge in the anonymity and detachment it provides: misused as a tool to harass, abuse, and spew hatred at others. This is weak, sad, and a direct reflection of the abuser.
Racism, derogatory, and/or cruel comments have nothing to do with the person on the receiving end of that abuse. And because I know this - I’m unfazed :) But for anyone out there who may not - I am here to remind you that whatever ugly and negative thing anyone ever chooses to say about you is always a reflection and revelation of themselves- it does NOT define you, and it certainly does NOT make you any less perfect than you are - Be you! Stay beautiful! Live breezy :)
As always, Much love 💕 (x)
