i was working on a redo of my ariodante adaptation last night and polinesso's design literally came to me in my dream ( and said dream also tried to persuade me that polinesso is evil scottish unulfo and unulfo is good italian polinesso, which... i mean... same gender? and they're played by the same imaginary actor in my head? )

lyrics are from his act 1 scene 4 aria, "coperta la frode" ^^
