Okay so, Aron is not a bad man by any meaning of the phrase. He’s actually an alright guy, and a better person than she is on account of the fact he is trying to make something of their marriage whilst she’s off dallying with anyone who takes her fancy and is game.

It’s an arranged political marriage forced on her by her parents. It’s yet another thing that was taken out of her control by her father. Up until she left the Blood Knights, every single major event in her life was dictated to her by her parents. She’s been able to leave the BK’s and join The Sunguard but there’s nothing she can do to be free of Aron - and she hates him for it.

TDLR; she hates her husband because they were forced into an arranged marriage. He’s a decent guy, she’s a dick.
