I’m down in #SouthernArizona after six months of living here it still feels like I’m ‘getting situated’ & I’m trying to get an RV so that I can travel around the Southwest in the future & have a base camp to stay in some of my favorite towns for longer periods of time like #Ajo, #Bisbee & #Clifton, #Arizona or #Roswell, #Magdalena, or #Socorro, #NewMexico. Getting financing is difficult for something newer so I will continue to keep this goal in focus; I’m NOT GIVING UP! I haven’t ruled out restoring an older rig!? I’ve been working as a ‘tour guide’ for a company here in the a Phoenix area as I pave a new vision here for the bigger picture. I’m moving beyond the theft & robbery of my working tools of the trade & looking forward to getting something soon but I’m going to be moving between Jan 31st & Feb 14; again, it’s all about ‘getting situated’ - basically, the cost of housing down here is super inflated & competition is ridiculous. It’s probably just natural supply & demand!? Anyways, I love the sub-tropical weather & I want to focus on Mesa’s Snowbird culture as part of one of my new art muses. This 55+ plus year old country club subculture that is so embedded here in the Southwest fascinates me for the same reasons #PalmSprings #California fascinated me.
