A commissioned design for Shad. The Gigatitan Mantis is currently available on steam as a mod in ARK: Surival Evolved.
First time drawing a bug for a commission!
Line work done, onto blocking in colors This is based off a screenshot I took of my friend meeting my Evo Giga on our ARK server.
Cerberus is attacking civilians on Benning. Land on Benning and provide protection while civilians are evacuated.
Mod Featured: Ark Mod, a subset mod under the Expanded Galaxy Mod, whose bonus content includes replacing some of the base game N7 mission maps with their hazard variants from the Retaliation DLC for multiplayer. In this case, Benning has the on-and-off acid rain storm that damages shields and barriers for both sides.
I’ve always really loved how @papermonkeyism has illustrated Einiosaurus, especially in that they have fluff/quills- So I decided to try my hand at making an Einiosaurus, possibly see if it works in ARK on trike rig, despite heavy modification to the overall body shape. At most I may need to add a couple more rig bones to the tail since I made that longer. (The model itself looks more simple since a lot of details are done with textures that look 3D but arent, and save space on polygons/triangles.) The technical count on this one is 400k TRI but 360K of that is the mockup quils which I’ll redo in blender with proper hair cards. I did a quick render of the model and painted some color on to give it a mockup of patterns I liked! Some kind of soft calico coloration, with a slight hint of soft blue, not sure what I’d name that individual. Maybe Creek Stone, since sometimes stones in creeks are polished to a blue hue? IDK. Anyway I really enjoyed working on this tonight, gave me something fun to work on that isn’t overly complicated!
Its Pokemon time in Ark!
