Just going to say this right now, if Hypergryph doesn't clear up whether or not Flamebringer is a descendant (pure or not) of the Diablos, then what's the point of his E2 beast art and his physical similarities to what's the current idea of what Diablos horns and tail look like? A red herring? A mistake from first year need to be edgy and sell our first welfare to the players? I'm not that distrustful of HG's ability to worldbuild nor believe they're that poor in character consistency.

I do not buy for one second that Flamebringer is from the Goliath sub-race either considering the examples we have with the playable ops specifically from that sub-race.

And he's mysterious enough to warrant having that lore expansion be a possibility.

I really hope for good things for our local gardener.

Sometimes the topic of how Pinkie introduced all of us to Arknights during it's second year rises and we all look back at the things we could have missed if they didn't so carefully cater to all of our likes. It feels like we were sucked into the void. Or we flied into a glue trap.

Either case, we are very happy to be a part of this.
