This was a new experience for Ellie. She wasn’t exactly a ‘girly’ person -- and the idea of makeup is so foreign to her. It wasn’t like she hated it -- she could get the creativity behind it and how much expression goes into it all ... but she’s never touched it.
And she certainly has never gotten her makeup done.
Which is why her face is all scrunched, eyes closed as Harley worked on putting eyeshadow on her. This is what girls did at sleepovers, right? Sleepovers ... another thing she never got to experience. There’s a first time for everything, though, which is why she’s sitting in Harley’s apartment, hand-me-down pj’s on, sitting still for the other.
“ -- did you really give me that bright-ass teal? Because I don’t think that’s going to look so good on me ... ” Or good at all, but she keeps that thought to herself.
