Hello!!

Alright... so I’m Aeralyn Veyra, but please just call me Rey. Still quite new to the whole Green lantern... thing. Since... uhhhh... well, a lot happened. I’m not ready to say the whole story, but I’ve learned to have will and stand for myself and others in need.

So yeah, I might be flyer-ahead-into-danger, but life’s going pretty good right now.

Family? My Dad was a human developer from Sapporo, Japan. I’ve heard he was a pretty tough Green lantern, or so my brothers have said. My mom... isn’t from here, Earth. She is a Pixalarian from the planet Pixalari. She is a green lantern as well, but I’ve never met her. I don’t really care though, I have my cool uncle to lean on. My brothers are okay I guess. (besides the dead one. nervous laughter, followed by choked sounds.) They are all older than me, and went on to become green lanterns before I was even a thought.

Me? When I’m not glowing neon green I like to play games... video games mostly and hang out with my friend Kai. Standing up for anyone in a fight even if I throw awkward comebacks.

Rey (Aeralyn Veyra) is 25 years old. She has short, messy brown hair with teal dyed ends, refusing to stay in place. Wide golden eyes, making it nearly impossible to hide her feelings. Has a clumsy and cheery attitude using jokes to hide her deep insecurities and pain. She has a bit of a problem with commitment because she is afraid of losing people. Normally wears loose tees, sneakers, and has plenty of arcade wristbands.

Rey inherited an alien trait from her mother’s people who have evolved to survive under digital-like energy streams. Developing the ability to dematerialize into a pixelated form. When Rey activates it, her body breaks down into glowing, square fragments-like static or digital shards. Slipping through technology, data streams, or energy fields.

How it works:

-In this form Rey can move through unblocked communication networks or vanish into electronics.

-the transformation is taxing on her human cells, and unlike her mother, can’t stay in the digital stream for too long without risking dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and deep fatigue. Since there is no oxygen or water in the ‘data space.’ Her green lantern ring does not cause this power, but helps keep her stable and healed, letting her last longer before her body starts to shut down.

-she can not carry other people safely in this form.

-Travel can be unpredictable, only able to move between connected systems, so no tech or signal nearby, no travel.
