I've identified as ace for a few years now and I'm very comfortable about it, but I'm not aro. I always feel like I won't be able to find someone because I am ace and sex-repulsed and it seems like every guy I know is only interested in sex. Is there others out there like this because I really feel alone because of it

You are not alone.

There are many Aces out there who are somewhere on the romantic scale and sex repulsed.  Just because you are sex repulsed does not mean you will never find romantic love.  But you do have to try.  You can’t just wait for things to come to you.  Try finding Ace meet-ups and hanging out with people.  Could be the chance you need to find someone?

I’m going with books because that seems fun and interesting.

(Not in order because that would be impossible also I will not guarantee that this is 100% accurate it’s more of a “five books I love that I can think of right now”)

1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling

I am trash for this book don’t even get me started because I will cry over Remus Lupin and Sirius Black for days.

2. The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman

A recent read, but I adore it.

3. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Words cannot express how much I love this book. I’m always a slut for good character development and social commentary.

4. Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen

(Another Jane Austen novel I know shh) I love Henry Tilney dearly and I can relate to Catherine’s overactive imagination.

5. Frankenstein by Mary Shelly

Woah this book makes me think about humanity. I love it.

OK so I saw your post about putting your cat's name in the tag and saw that you have a cat named Radar and I literally got a dog this summer and named him Radar and the coincidence is uncanny to me

That is pretty crazy. What prompted you to name your dog Radar? With my kitty it’s because she had HUGE ears as a baby and we always joked that they looked like radar dishes.

Not necessarily a surgery story (as this happened while I was still being prepped for surgery), but since I was at a learning hospital the guy putting in my IV was new and hadn't had a lot of practice, so it took a lot of tries before they could get it in, and during that time I had to be restrained because I was twelve and already scared of the idea of surgery and I still have panic attacks when I have to have blood drawn from that experience.

Holy shit!! I can’t believe they made an inexperienced doctor in training IV a child!!! Those things hurt even when an experienced nurse/doctor does it. I’m so sorry you had to go through that.

I have shifting veins, and I mentioned that to the nurse putting in my IV, and she was like “oh, good thing you told me.” and put it in a different place than the one she went for originally.

I leave on thursday for alaska (well seatle but the ship leaves on friday) so we’re just missing each other

My flight actually has a connection in Seattle on Friday evening, so we’ll probably be travelling from Seattle to Alaska at the same time for a little while, one by boat one by plane.

A little array of hedgehogs bumbling around in a garden, someone with a camera hovering about trying to get a good shot without interrupting their fun. A sprawling hedge maze on the grounds of an abandoned manor. All the outbuildings have fallen into disrepair, but the maze is perfectly manicured. A clear pool in the heart of the forest, only a few feet across but so deep you can’t tell where the bottom is.
