Hi, author! I like your blog and like that you liked my question. <3 I know that, probably, north-eastern Turkey is much more connected with the Caucasus than with Anatolia or the Middle East. I've been to the coast and I think your guys and Georgia (and his family, especially Adjara) can be a kind of separated relatives, after the region was seized by Russia. P.S. And I shipp fem!Turkey with male!Georgia, so it's fun to see the regions "common children" or something like that.

Yes, we are much more connected with the Caucasus, I’d like to see us as Southern Caucasian peoples too but that probably wouldn’t be true, sadly (minus the Laz people of course) :’’D don’t ever underestimate what mountains could do! We’re closer to Caucasia than Western Black Sea or the rest of Anatolia for that matter! 

You’re reading my mind anon! Artvin and Adjara are like twins anyway and I imagine Artvin and Rize (and to a lesser extent maybe Adjara) as a part of Georgia’s children that were partly raised by Trabzon. Let me tell you there is a family connection between them for sure as you can guess, when I’ve got the time I would really like to explore the family relations between them. Rize, Artvin and Adjara would be really close; I can imagine! Hopefully, I can portray that properly.

And about how they see Russia as well! There’s still a grudge over what the imperial Russians did (part of my family escaped from the Russian massacres to the Muslim population somewhere in Georgia, lots of people have these kinds of stories to tell here).

I’m all for any kind of TurkeyXGeorgia ships anon, I hope Hima would make a Georgia character so I can ship them as I want! The common children idea is magnificent too! I should probably try making a Georgia for myself haha–
