It's Romantic Relationship Day for See More Seymour's Bay Week and I am posting as early as possible because I am so jazzed about what I have to share!
I commissioned Bee @meaniezuchinni to do a drawing of my favorite "Bob's Burgers" rare pair: Louise's classmates Arnold Evans and Kaylee Morganstern (or Arnlee, as I and maybe three other people call it).
Bee did such an amazing job with this! I had the vague idea of "Arnold invited Kaylee to his karate class, and he is doing a cool karate move, and she is trying and kinda failing..." but I couldn't find a good photo reference for it. Bee sketched a number of concepts for me to look over to see which one I liked most. Also, they came up with a great idea for the background...my idea was just "um, like a generic suburban dojo?" But...notice the design on the wall? That's right! It's Jairo's capoeria center! i can totally see him needing to rent it out to other martial art classes in order to make his rent to Mr. Fishsticks!
And Bee added so many fun little details that went beyond what I was expecting: Kaylee's reflection in the mirror, the fact that she is wearing he regular yellow shirt under her gi, the Ocean Avenue streetscape through the window...

As for Arnlee, here is the post where I first started shipping them! And here is the one fic I've written about them so far! I hope I'll do another at some point. Maybe even one based on the same premise as this picture...
