I wasn’t looking for LOVE this year
But my robot told me that I shouldn’t FEAR
when I meet you I found you SAFE & WARM
and the ROBOT VOICES would reassure me

also grace x christopher and anna x ariadne
Ohh boy!
So Christopher and Grace
Being brutally honest, if it wasnt for the fact they were cousins (even if not by blood) I'd be all over it, but I have such a good hc for them to fix it.
So as a ship, I like it! It has potential. They seem to complement eachother well! Christopher sees the world as what it could be, and Grace sees the world as it is. Its a good contrast and given the right development this could be great!!
But heres my hc, which I do find is better. So Christopher Lightwood can't be straight, like, look me in the eyes and tell me hes straight. Nope, Christopher Lightwood is a ranging Asexual, he just hasn't got the words for it. And Grace Blackthorn, is aromantic. They do love eachother!! Platonically✨
They're great friends, and better lab partners, both of them just dont want romantic love, and they feel comfortable around eachother. So to please society, they get married. And live their happy ace/aro life blowing things up
Anna and Ariadne
Jesus ok-
In all honesty, I really like them
This will probably earn me a lot of hate, but I feel if Anna awknoladges the place of privilege she came from when she asked Ariadne to throw her life away for her, apologizes, and they use the beautiful thing called communication, they'll have a lot of potential. The Anna of now is different from the love sick Anna of the past, Ariadne is now working towards being unapoligetically herself instead of what society wants from her. They have a few issues to work out, but overall the basis is still good. They love eachother, they always have.
Call me cheesy but I'm rooting for the lesbians because they deserve to find closure in eachother, no trying to excuse either of their actions in the past, but I have a feeling choi will leave us with good arianna content and personally cant wait
(Also pls imagine Anna calling Ariadne by her indian name)
I was inspired to talk about an oversight in the aro community by @aro-culture-is ‘s post [X] The aro community is more than just alloaros and aroaces. To view alloaro/aroace as a strict binary between aros who feel sexual attraction and aros who don’t is at best to massively oversimplify the truth and at worst to straight up lie. Binaries like this one alienate the many aros who fall in the grey areas of the asexual spectrum or who don’t define their sexuality in those terms/at all. To be inclusive to these members of our community, it is important to not frame the aro community as if it is made up of only aroaces and alloaros.
Aros who don’t use the SAM
Aros who experience only some sexual attraction
Aros who refuse sexuality labels
Quoisexual aros
Aros questioning their sexuality
Aros who maintain their sexuality is none of your business
Aros who microlabel their sexuality
Angled aroaces, and to an extent, oriented aroaces
These aros are excluded, marginalised, or ignored by binarising the community. It’s vitally important that we keep in mind aromanticism and asexuality exist on spectrums, and that those spectrums can’t be reduced to binaries in the same way we can’t assume a rainbow to be made up of only red and purple. To do so is to ignore the nuance that makes it interesting enough to talk about in the first place. Unless we’re talking about something that definitely only effects end-case alloaros/aroaces, we’ll try our best to rephrase in a more thoughtful and inclusive way in the future. - Mod Kricketot
