yknow if Cassandra Clare wanted to characterise Anna more as a Herondale than a Lightwood she should have committed to it more. Like have Cecily look at her daughter, and watch her drinking & smoking in the centre of the party. watch her flirt and chase the thrill of it all, and being so so careless about it all.
