Hollyleaf. My favourite tortured soul. Her obsession with being a perfect warrior and a member of the prophecy bleeds into her role in the Clan as a whole. She lives with the conviction that she must be more than she is, endlessly taunted by an ideal that she is unfit for.

A personal tragedy that plays beautifully into an aroace interpretation of her character. First her affection for Cinderheart (headcanoned as qpr) is superseded by a romantic relationship, then her situationship with Fallenleaves is abandoned in favour of her return to that suffocating Clan life.

Also does the text in the image make sense? idk. I came up with it on the spot and found the wording fitting enough.

Mirabelle ISAT is, on top of being an extremely cute and kickass heroine, is also the best aroace representation I've seen in any media ever. She's compassionate, affectionate, emotional, and not the usual "cold, unfeeling" type of character who usually gets the asexual tag by the writers. Her friend quest was such a touching surprise when I first got to it, it's now forever ingrained in my brain.

With that ramble over, since it's Asexual Awareness Day, I wanted to draw her! Siffrin No Last Name is also really good ace rep of the romance variety, but I gotta leave something for next year as well, hehe.

Oh also have the aromantic version too because she's a double-A icon. Okay, have fun being perceived for a few more hours, fellow Aces!
