7: What does your OC hate and like about themselves?
Arocle hates that he hasn’t allowed himself to have very many emotionally intimate connections. He is kind of kicking himself over being Super Pale for Widsth because he knows that it’d be a great way to manipulate him, but he also wouldn’t trade it for anything and wishes he’d allowed himself to become attached to people before.
He likes everything about himself? Which feels like a cop-out but he’s incredibly vain! He likes his height, he likes his face, he likes his body, he likes his presentation and his intellect. He likes his hair and his ability to charm. He was hatched to be high class and every move he makes SHOWS that.
17: What does your OC do when they’re dealing with intense emotional pain?
Isolate! Arocle is fairly extroverted and I think he socializes quite often, but when he’s really dealing with something he’ll vanish off the face of the planet for a little bit. He usually blames it on being knee-deep in translating, but he’ll throw himself into a project or a book to deal with his pain alone.
22: Does your OC believe in something supernatural or not scientifically proven?
Yes, 100%. He doesn’t talk about it much, especially because he knows how it can be perceived to talk about the supernatural as someone who believes, but he absolutely believes in most supernatural things. He also doesn’t really speak of them because that would mean bringing their attention to him and he does NOT want that!
