i'm about to make your day anon -- thomas astruc said it on twitter a few years ago, here's the link! he also said max is ace, which is awesome too! while i obviously doubt these identities are going to be explored in the show itself, it's always nice to get confirmation of aspec rep, especially characters as cool as these! so yes, alix and max are canon aspecs. max is totally a space ace since his mum is an astronaut

(and as for in-show stuff, tikki at one point said that kwamis don't fall in love, which seems to imply that they're all aro too!)

something i think about quite frequently: was alix always planned to be aro, and fandom picked up on the hints, or did thomas decide to make her aro after seeing so much support of it from fandom? after all, julerose became more prominent in the show due to fandom support so it's not like it would be the first time

i literally have not been able to stop smiling all day about this, despite it being a very stressful day due to work stuff... i didn’t realize i still cared so much or that an offhand tweet would make me so happy!!! i guess i didn’t realize just how much i wanted actual aro rep lol
