16. Forbidden love AU

She shouldn’t be here. If her mother found out she was here, if she was disobeying her family, she would have an aneurysm. Glimmer would never be allowed to step foot out of the castle for who knows how long. Possibly forever. But the princess does not give a shit. She pushes onward, determined to reach her goal.

“Adora?” Glimmer says upon reaching the meeting place.

“I'm here!” a voice says. Adora’s head pops out from the bushes, twigs and leaves stick out from her hair. How long has she been waiting here?

Though, that thought is quickly pushed away. The two embrace one another, arms wrapping tight around their bodies. Foreheads then touch and Adora places her hands on Glimmer’s cheeks. Thumbs rub against the princess’ cheek.

Glimmer’s heart flutters at the touch. Trying to find time to see each other hsa become harder and harder. Glimmer having more and more duties as she prepares to be queen. Not to mention, the looming threat of her arranged marriage despite neither she or he wants to be together. And then Adora having more and more work at the stables. Word spreads fast in the town and if someone catches her leaving, then it’s all over.

But for now, the two can enjoy each other’s company. No worry about anyone catching them. No worry about the weight of their respective worlds on their shoulders. They can just be here.

“I guess you’ve been working a lot with the horses? I can smell them on you.” Glimmer chuckles.

“What can I say, they are my favorite animal. What about you? What type of perfume do you have in that big old castle of yours? It stings my nose.”

“One day we gotta sneak you in so you can try it yourself.”

Adora gives a kiss on Glimmer’s head. “Enough about that. Let’s talk about something else.”

Would you like to see Raven have a significant role in the later volumes of RWBY, and if so, to what extent?

yeah, Yang doesnt have all her answers yet and thats not really gonna happen until Raven gets her head out of her ass, so Raven finding her old courage for Yangs sake and rejoining the fight and actually talking to Yang without any of the bullshit is what i would like to see
