My Favourite Felicity Smoak Moments!
As you all know Felicity Smoak is my favourite character EVER. Even when I was unhappy with the Arrow writers - I stayed because she is still Felicity which is why I’m still watching today. So given that this is her last season why remember her awesomeness with the gifs created by our very talented fandom!
Thanks to those who made the gifs!

Arrow Rewatch 2018 2x22 Streets Of Fire
We open with Laurel trapped under the rubble and Dig is attacked by Isabel.
- Felicity hits Isabel with the van, 'I really thought the airbags were gonna go off!' I love her so much.
- okay. I admit. Laurel shooting the explosive arrow was pretty cool. I guess she's been slapping bowls of water in her free time.
- Thea can't catch a break. First she gets attacked by a mirakuru soldier, then her psycho father shows up.
- 'Isabel attacked Dig so I hit her with the van.' Have I mentioned that I love this woman?
- Does anyone else find the messy, wet wig attractive on island Ollie? Have I gone mad? Maybe it's the black eye. I'm just finding him weirdly appealing right now lol.
- 'You have made a friend for life.' Aw Anatoly I love you. What is their ship name? Ollioly? Anatollie?
- nice to see the police force uniting behind Oliver, and Quentin getting his shield back.
- Sara's back to save her sister.
- Yes, Sebastian. You are in way over your head.
- after the van crashes, Oliver's desperate 'is she breathing?' Just kills me. He sounds almost panicked for a second.
- Then we have Oliver carrying Felicity while she's unconscious, even though he has a bum knee. He gives John his bow, even though he's the Archer here. It's not like they're not still in danger. But he needs to carry her. He needs to feel her weight in his arms. He needs to feel her breathing against him. He needs the reassurance that she's really alright. Because for a split second he thought he lost her. Boy has got it so bad.
- 'I'm not going to pretend that I've been through anything that you have.' What? Seriously? The whole essense of Laurel's character is to whine and complain that she's had it worse than everybody on the face of the planet. Why change the habit of a lifetime?
- and then we have a nice little moment between the sisters. When they let them just be sisters without the drama, I enjoy their scenes.
- 'I can walk now.' Oliver's been helping her this whole time. Not even letting go after she gained consciousness.
- Slade's got the cure.
And then we reach the moment I've been waiting for since I started this rewatch. My favourite Olicity scene of all time. Even after 6 seasons, this is still, in my eyes, the quintessential Olicity scene. Nothing comes close.
'What's happening now is not your fault.'
'Yes it is. I have failed this city. Yao Fae, Shado, Tommy, my father, my mother...all that I have ever wanted to do is honour those people.'
'You honoured the dead by fighting. And you are not done fighting. Malcolm Merlyn, The Count, The Clock King, The Triad, everyone who has tried to hurt this city you stopped them. And you will stop Slade.'
'I don't know how.'
'Neither do I. But I do know two things; you are not alone and I believe in you.'
This whole speech is iconic. But it's more than that. This whole scene is just perfection. It's about two people; one's given up on himself, while the other never will.
This is Felicity harnessing Oliver's light. This is her showing him that all hope is not lost. She is giving him what he has been so desperately searching for since he got on that boat all those years ago; someone who believes in him. NO. MATTER. WHAT.
The way he watches her as she so fiercely and passionately pleads his case. He's in awe of her. He sees his friend, his partner, the woman he loves. The bravest person he's ever known, and she inspires him. This is the moment. This is when Oliver finally accepts that he is in love with her. That she's the one he loves the most. When she tells him that she believes in him, you see a glimmer in his eyes. When she hugs him, and he slowly places his hand on her back, it's bathed in light...she brought him back. He loves her. It's such a beautiful scene, and Stephen and Emily are just incredible together. I still get goosebumps when I watch it.
- see Sara, you are a hero.
- 'I'm just saying, if you guys don't come back alive I'm going to be really pissed.' Aw she loves her boys. Oliver's smile and shoulder touch to reassure her coz he can't say the words is so sweet. Note the little music change and the close up of his hand on her shoulder.
- ugh, Sebastian talks too much. I zone out everytime he starts to monologue.
- 'after he killed my mother, he said one more person had to die.'
'Whoever you love the most.'
- and Blood is dead. Thank you.
- I forgot about Roy. Aw Felicity, she's holding his foot while Oliver goes to inject him.
- ARGUS have arrived, and Walter's sending in a drone strike.
- desperate times call for desperate measures, Oliver. He ain't messing around anymore. Roy gets injected.
- shoot him, Thea!!!!
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ amazing episode. So much happening. So much Olicity and OTA.
