How exactly is Malcolm Merlyn being Thea's father Oliver's secret?! Like, yeah, he knew and didn't tell her, but he hadn't known for very long, and regardless, not his secret. Why on earth is Thea angry at Oliver and not her mother about this?!

Y'all remember this scene, right?
This one was a duet with a cosplayer on Tik Tok who goes by the username midwestavenger. If you have a Tik Tok, you should definitely go and give him a follow because his stuff is really good.
Anyway, what do you guys think? How'd I do with this one?

My Favourite Felicity Smoak Moments!
As you all know Felicity Smoak is my favourite character EVER. Even when I was unhappy with the Arrow writers - I stayed because she is still Felicity which is why I’m still watching today. So given that this is her last season why remember her awesomeness with the gifs created by our very talented fandom!
Thanks to those who made the gifs!
IMDB’s top ten rated episodes of Arrow
Arrow Rewatch 2018 2x18 Deathstroke
- 'Well I told a guy the truth and he got struck by lightning. To be fair, it probably won't happen again. Statistically.' Haha Felicity.
Felicity really is just a breath of fresh air. She's hardly been in the last few episodes and it really shows.
- 'And how is Ms Rochev these days? Still angry that Dorothy dropped a house on her sister?' Savage Moira.
'I've gotten pretty good at pretending to be someone I'm not. I learned it from you.'
I really hate seeing Oliver and Moira fighting. Mainly because I know how fast time is running out for her character. The little pause after he says this to her, Moira gives him a look. It's subtle. I thinks it's both registering the sting of that barb, and her reading between the lines. We know now that she knew about Oliver's secret, or at least suspected.
- and now they know that Slade took Thea.
- Oliver signing over the company to Isabel has got to be the dumbest thing he has ever done on this show.
- Felicity eyeballed thousands of photos looking for Thea. Coz 'It's Thea.' She knows how important she is to Oliver. And she's just a good person.
- Slade really just likes playing games with Oliver. He took Thea to make a point. Now he's going to tell her a secret about Oliver. Dun dun dun!
- I find myself kind of agreeing with Roy. I mentioned in the previous review how stupid it was that Oliver told Roy to stay away from Thea when Slade was around. He then showed absolutely no interest in protecting her himself. He left her vulnerable.
- I loved the scene between Moira and Oliver. Both Susanna and Stephen are so good in it. I think Oliver finds some common ground with his mother. I also found it pretty poignant when she was talking about how as a parent you try to protect your children from the world, but you don't think about what harm you can do to them. I wish Moira was still around so we could have these kinds of moments now that Oliver has William in his life. It just makes me sad.
- and here we see that Slade is hallucinating Shado.
- Roy, I was on your side until you put your hands on Dig. Liked seeing Sara defend him and calling him her friend.
- 'I believed in you.' Roy is the first one to turn and lose faith in Oliver.
- Isabel is working with Slade. 'The sins of the father are the sins of the son.'
- 'Go! Go get Thea. Stop Slade. Do whatever it takes. End this. Once and for all.'
Oliver's coming undone and Felicity can see it. She can see how no matter what John and Sara say, he will go after Thea alone. So she stops the arguing. She grounds him. She gives him focus and tells him what he needs to hear. She gives him clarity and he responds to her.
She is the one who started the 'find another way' path with him. She's now giving him the permission to stray just like he did with the Count.
This is one of the most underrated Olicity scenes, and one of my all time faves.
- great fight scene with Oliver handling those guys by himself. It's been a while.
- once again Slade is one step ahead. Who does he think he is? Adrian? lol
- I really do hate when the writers set it up that the audience is supposed to think Thea knows Oliver's big secret, when actually it's the Malcolm secret. They make it so obvious. It's annoying. Also, technically that's Moira's secret, not Oliver's.
- 'I believed in you.' Thea is the second person to lose faith in Oliver this episode.
- Roy drives off.
- Quentin is arrested for working with the Arrow.
- one of my favourite OTA scenes.
'I can't stop him from doing anything.'
Oliver is so defeated, until...
'Yes you can.' A glimmer of hope appears.
'What makes you so sure?'
'Coz you're not alone, man.'
During this episode, Oliver is left so spun out by Slade's mind games, and losing Roy and Thea's faith affects him so much. But this scene just highlights how he still has Felicity and John on his side. It shows how crucial these two have become to Oliver. They give him the support he needs. Felicity’s 'Yes you can' followed by Dig's reaffirmation that he's not alone just eases some of that weight he's carrying on his shoulders.
They are with him. No. Matter. What.
'Now what boss?'
'Now we fight back.' Yes!
- Yes, Laurel. Breaking news just in! The guy you claim to know better than anyone is actually the Arrow.
Slade's dramatic pause before delivering the news just made me laugh. That whole scene was so badly acted lol.
Rating: ☆☆☆1/2 this episode was too busy. Too many twists. I know they're amping up for the final stretch but it just felt too much in one episode. Also, can everything Slade says not have some kind of double meaning? We get it. We saw the flashbacks. You don't need to wink to your audience every two seconds.

Trip Down Memory Lane #21
It’s no secret that Season 6 of Arrow is leaving me beyond miserable - but now with the showrunner change I have the tiniest bit of hope. However, I still need cheering so I’m remembering times when Arrow made me happy. There was a whole lot of happy and good before I had my heart broken.
LOVE that Oliver can call Felicity without even looking - important skill!
Dyla - we always need more of this
Happy Sara
