I first drew this as a watercolor piece back in 2018 and it now lives in my sisters apartment. I can’t explain to you the joy i had making this piece that summer with my watercolor pencils sitting with friends. This one even inspired me to start working on Arsa so there’s that too lol

The new version i started working on in 2020 when the pandemic was just hitting but I kept putting it off getting stressed with bits of the project starting with the hair, the hands and then the skirt and the last time I went to work on it the jellyfish tendrils made me put down my pen and walk away. But i just happened to open the file last night and start working on it again and im really really like the way it came out. I feel like you can see where each year has influenced parts of the art which is interesting to me at least lol
