Upsetting a Deity (You Probably Haven't!)
Upsetting a Deity A lot goes around about upsetting a deity, but the chances are you haven’t! Deities won’t be upset about little mistakes or being unable to pray because you’re having a flare-up. They understand and they care. Most likely, they would want you to be well and safe. It would take a LOT for a deity to be upset in a significant way.
Upsetting a Deity example In Hellenism, you must be clean before offering or communicating with a deity. We should all research thoroughly, but sometimes things are missed, so not washing your hands before offering food may not be looked upon favourably. However, you can learn from this and embed it into future practice. Apologise for the mistake and move on, dwelling will only make things harder for you and your relationship with the deity.
What if I didn’t give them an offering today? That’s okay. Give your deity an offering when you next can. You don’t have to give offerings daily, or on any set timescale. If you can’t do offerings at all, that’s fine too. There is no must for offerings!
What if I just realised my old actions were disrespectful? Then you’re learning and that’s great. Let’s remember that deities aren’t human, their stances wouldn’t be like ours. Apologise for your past mistakes and move forward. If you’d like to build a relationship with that deity, begin doing so with your new found knowledge on being as respectful as you can be.
But I made a promise that I couldn’t fulfil? Try avoiding making promises you can’t keep, especially specific promises. Try making a loose promise, so rather than a set time for a specific offering, promise to do it when you next get the chance. Deities understand that things change. As long as you intend to fulfil your promise at the time you make it, they know your intention was there. If it didn’t happen, do it when you next can.
But I feel bad anyway, how can I fix things? If you feel bad or would just like to do something to make it up to the deity, do what you would normally do. Apologise, honour them, provide an offering, and share how you have learnt from the experience. A small mistake or getting something wrong will not have an everlasting impact on you.
The deity isn’t responding properly to me anymore! Are you communicating with a clear mind? Your emotions and mindset impact how you communicate and may be overriding the responses or even how you interpret them. Take a break, realise you can apologise and move on, and relax. When you’re in a calmer mindset, try again.
What if they don’t want me to worship/work with them anymore? How do you know this? Deities are deities, they want to be worshipped. I can assure you, the chances are you haven’t done anything bad enough to where a deity no longer wants you to worship/work with them. Like before, take a break, apologise, relax, and move on. Communicate about topics when you’re in the right mindset to do so.
So I can do anything and the deities won’t be upset? No. Like before, deities are deities. They are divine. They see your intentions, they know when you’re being truthful, respectful, and honest. Don’t try to fool them or purposefully disrespect them, you will not be granted their favour by doing this. Likewise, do try avoid making promises, oaths, and similar, that you know there’s a chance you might not be able to keep.
THE HIGH PRIESTESS
The High Priestess represents sacred inner knowing and the quiet power of intuition. She sits at the threshold between the visible world and the unseen mysteries, guarding wisdom that cannot be forced but must be received. Where the Magician acts through will and skill, the High Priestess listens, observes, and understands that truth often reveals itself in silence. She reminds us that deep wisdom emerges when the mind becomes still and receptive.

The Adventures of Fors Wall
— Phew...
Baek Yoonho hung there. His gaze was fixed on one thing: that monster, that monster that had killed Min Byeong.
He had failed again.
All that remained was frustration, the frustration of not having been stronger and of not having protected his comrades, whom he would soon see.
He expected to see his life flash before his eyes, but to his surprise and that of the other hunters, the ant froze and turned its head toward a fixed point in the cave.
Yoonho followed its line of vision and thought he saw one of the paths leading outside.
However, to his dismay, he noticed a disturbance, not on that path, but to the side, in a completely stone wall. It seemed to be warping, like a mirage where the air could be seen moving like a snake.
Though it seemed to be warping reality itself.
Yoonho thought it was just the lack of air that was making him see that, but that deformation, that small line, spread quickly, deforming the stone wall into something he didn't think he'd see in a place like this.
— A... door? — said the hunter, broadcasting live.
Everyone stared at that door, which wasn't a whirlwind leading to a dungeon, but a completely ordinary door you'd see in a house.
At that moment, the door creaked open.
A woman walked out, wearing a high-necked lace blouse, a pink knitted shawl that fell gently at the sides, and a long, full beige skirt with soft pleats.
The way she held her hat and the suitcase visible in her hands made her look like a traveler.
The door had disappeared the moment she stepped out.
— I managed to escape.
Due to the silence of the cave, her every word could be heard, but the audience was baffled. What language was that?
Of all places, I had the misfortune of running into 'HIM.'
That woman looked up, allowing everyone to appreciate her face.
Her slightly curly brown hair fell over her shoulders, framing her delicate face along with her pale blue eyes. Her European features with remarkably white skin. Her appearance, like her clothing, immediately made everyone see that woman as beautiful and sophisticated.
— Who is she?
— Is she a foreigner sent by another country?
— Is she beautiful?
— European?
— Why do her clothes look like the ones my grandmother wore?
— Where did that door come from?
Those were the questions of the thousands of Koreans watching the screens.
The moment Fors looked up, she didn't expect to find a humanoid monster, a group of severely injured people, or a decapitated body.
CRACK
Her gaze shifted toward the cave.
Not only was there a humanoid monster in front of her, but on the ceiling and in a corner were ants as large as a human being.
The clicking sound was the clash of their mandibles, which at first glance seemed to be biting menacingly at the sudden visitor.
But a practiced eye would perceive their unease.
— I arrived at an inopportune moment.
In the blink of an eye, a large claw was mere inches from her face. As the Ant King had demonstrated, with his speed, he had reached her in the blink of an eye. The hunters, as well as the audience who saw what that ant could do, waited in horror for the woman's death.
The King's claw pierced Fors.
There was no blood, not a body.
But a loud bang was heard.
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
— What the hell is going on in there? — asked Goto Ryuji after hearing lightning strike inside the hive.
The sound was so powerful that the Japanese hunters could hear it and swore the island shook for a moment.
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
Yoonho didn't know what he was seeing. No, more accurately, he didn't know if what he was seeing was real.
In front of him stood the woman who had come out of the door. She seemed calm despite having been inches from death.
Couldn't she have sensed the aura of Bloodlust emitted by the King?
His gaze shifted to the person who had caused the S-rank hunters to fall. And his eyes widened so wide they seemed as if they were going to pop out of his head.
He didn't know how, but the ringing in his ears was proof enough that lightning had struck the Ant King.
A lightning bolt caused by her.

<A mage? >
Jinwoo watched everything from the shadows.
That woman wasn't physically strong, nor did she seem agile or quick enough to dodge such a blow.
What he saw was something like teleportation.
The Ant King had only reached an afterimage of where he had been, and in the blink of an eye, a lightning bolt struck him. Therefore, that array of abilities could only be attributed to a mage.
<But it was strange that a mage had the quick reaction time to dodge a blow from a monster as strong as the Ant King. A blow that not even Hunter Cha Hae-in could react to, and at the same time, cast a lightning bolt.>
That was an anomaly.
He also thought about how she had come out through a door. The door seemed unusual at first glance, but with Jinwoo's sharp gaze, he could notice strange symbols on the wood. Not to mention, before the door closed, he managed to see what was inside.
But he simply saw nothing.
Only eternal darkness. An immeasurable void.
His eyes suddenly opened in surprise. His agitation was so strong that his shadows were affected by the intense sensation of his King.
Jinwoo remembered what the hunter Kang Taeshik once said:
"If you stare into the abyss for too long, the abyss will stare back."
A pair of deep blue eyes, dull, but if you looked into them with determination, with a slight hint of madness, they saw it.
She looked at him.
<Who the hell is that woman?>
Another crossover I couldn't get out of my head.
For those of you who are familiar with LOTR. When I first discovered the Gate path, I admit I thought it was a passive ability, but I was terribly wrong as I progressed through the novel.
It has great potential! Not only for copying abilities or states from other paths, but also for the fact that you can travel the cosmos and go to other planets.
Her ability is very good for various crossovers.
As for the character, Fors is one of my favorite female characters. I definitely relate to her; I also want to travel and be a salty fish.
This crossover will have parts; I don't know how many, to be honest. As for the other Darkness crossover, I'll probably make changes and post new parts. I had the idea, but I feel like I didn't know how to express it.
From now on I will probably start adding music.
