4-22 - Fan Art. Year Walk is such a neat little game, and we wanted to draw the lovely Brook Horse-- Tried to go for a style more like the game, too...~ Was quite fun, and like how it turned out-- A hint to stained glass, and metallic lines...~ Yay... Or Neigh? Only we may use, do not steal.

2017 April Årsgång (the wearable) Fabric, Glue, Mask template, Half-Life baby doll image For my Digital Mixed Media class, semester final. Choices for our final were visiting a past project type, or expanding on an existing project. I did the latter. My final is a wearable representation of some of the Swedish/Norse/Scandanavian entities seen on a Year Walk, which I also mentioned in my little book. ~ cow tail is the Skogsra (Huldra) ~ water scarf is the Backahasten (brook horse, or kelpie) ~ goat mask is the Kykogrimen (church grim) ~ the tendrily feather cape is the Nattravnen (Night Raven) ~ mer [ moonblaze13 / kittimer ] facebook deviantart

2017 April Årsgång (the book) 6in x 8.5in Clip Studio Paint, Copic markers, Fabric, Pen For my Digital Mixed Media class, "Narrative" project. The frist two images are my pre and post production drafts of my narrative which I then later chose to represent as a book to complete our "narrative" project segment. The book is hand-made and hand-written by myself, the drawings were done first in pencil and copics, I then finished them in Clip Studio. The narrative is my own interpretation of a year walk. I was inspired to use this ritual as my narrative after being entranced by Simogo's Year Walk game. I did the research about the actual practice and found opportunity to share my findings in my project. ~ mer [ moonblaze13 / kittimer ] facebook deviantart
