idc what anyone says non-sexual nudity is an ETHEREAL form of art. Our bodies should not be inherently sexual, it shouldn’t be called “softcore porn” if it’s just someone’s body, unless they’re asking you to sexualize it, don’t.
!REMINDER! If you cannot take criticism do NOT be an professional artist in any capacity. Art is entirely subjective and opinion based and if you're going to cry every time somebody doesn't like or doesn't understand your piece just go and work in a bank or something.
I'VE ALWAYS HATED 'PARTIES'
SIMON HENRIKSSON X READER (SFW) (can be platonic or romantic. Whatever you like!)
TW: Swear words, mention of assault, mentions of bullying.
If you feel uncomfortable with anything mentioned above, please proceed with caution<3
The entire school hated him. No one ever talked with Simon, let alone invite him somewhere. There were only 2 people who had nothing against him and somewhat liked him. Sophie.. and you! You were one of the more popular kids, constantly getting invited to parties and flirted with. He envied you.. yes. Who wouldn't envy such a perfect social life?
Parties were his cup of tea, easpiecally when he never got invited to any of them. He just preferred spending time alone with Sophie or you.. if you ever bothered to hang with him. It was more quiet, peaceful. No party horns, drunk teens, and potential assaults. Any time you tried to invite him to one, he'd decline or you'II other friends would bug in and refuse to let him come. If anything.. it was probably for the better.
Though, when you asked if he wanted to come to the upcoming party, he.. agreed! Wait- you heard that, right? He actually agreed! Though he was reluctant. You both agreed that if someone so much as mocked him or made a comment he would leave. It was a fair deal! Who wanted to get bullied by some fuckass cunts who were coddled by their parents? No one! Doesn't mean it won't happen though..
Friday 13th(hehe..), 7:32pm.
He arrived late. Wasn't a surprise, though. He never was good at planning times or being on time. You didn't mind, though, neither did anyone else. They mostly ignored him, anyway.
He stood in the corner, sipping 'apple juice' if you could call it that. It tasted like shit in his opinion. Clearly some rich, tasteless drink. He ended up just dumping the practically sewer water into the sink and putting the glass on the counter. It had only been 20 minutes and he already wanted to leave, so he went to find you. He did it pretty quickly, since you had been walking over to get some water, clearly sharing his opinion on the drinks provided.
You both ended up on the upstairs balcony, both standing there. Simon smoked, making sure to stand in a way that the smoke wouldn't hit you.
"Even cigarettes taste better than whatever they were serving.."
Simon sniggered, slight amusement in the way he said it.
"I know, right?"
Your response was fast, giggling with him as you both chatted until you got bored of the place and left.
Ring with Architectural Motif
This extraordinary ring, dating to second half of 16th century CE, is a rare example of Renaissance artistry where jewelry and architecture converge.
Likely crafted in Italy, it features a detailed miniature castle set into its design, reflecting the period’s fascination with symbolism, craftsmanship, and the blending of art forms.
Such pieces were not merely adornments but carried layered meanings tied to status, identity, and imagination.
Rings with architectural motifs were particularly admired in the Renaissance, an era that celebrated both human ingenuity and the grandeur of built forms.
A castle symbolized strength, protection and noble lineage, making this ring a powerful emblem of authority and prestige.
Its intricate detailing also highlights the skill of the goldsmiths who worked at the height of Italian decorative art traditions.
Beyond its decorative appeal, the ring represents the Renaissance spirit of innovation, where art was not confined to paintings or sculptures but extended to personal objects.
Today, it stands as a testament to the creativity of the period, embodying both luxury and meaning.
As a miniature fortress worn on the hand, it reflects the wearer’s connection to power, security, and the enduring allure of architectural symbolism.
