Me: Im Going to draw today!

Me: dosent draw for a week and gets annoyed at myself

Me: laying in bed THINKING about drawing then gets in a funk about not drawing thinking it not worth it

Welcome to being an artist 😂😅

But then I remembered this funk will pass and and I have to tell my self your a good artist who's come a long way and can go even farther so you can't give up now

I've been in an art funk as of late. To try and get out of it I'm going to flesh out some of my characters by drawing things from their personal lives, starting with Maggerly. I see her being part of a huge family of brothers and sisters (and I am going to draw everyone of them).

As a child, I couldn’t help but be excited when I saw that the circus was back in town. But now that I’m older, the word “circus” tends to bring me mixed feelings, since I’m very much against animal exploitation and cruelty. But not an ounce of antipathy to be found in my heart when it comes to this song from Cocoa Futures, whose name might as well be “cocoa butter” considering the project’s velvety smooth cooing and the chiffon pop they offers up on Circus. The London outfit last dazzled us with their art funk minimalism and electro-pop on Sink In The Water. They’ve followed up that gem up with much panache, giving us a dreamy pop-soul waltz produced by Brendan Williams (GoGo Penguin, Dutch Uncles). Greg of Cocoa Futures notes: “‘Circus’ is about patience. Patience seems pretty boring, but it’s secretly banging. You know when you really want something but can wait for it? Taken right before aizawa scolds him for leaving campus alone! @jadeinkwell I know I said I’ll do baby version of him and her I tried but failed epically 😂😭 Maybe next time when I’m not in an art funk :p Does anyone else have those days where they have all the ideas but they just can’t draw?
