When you do your digital drawings what program and brushes do you use? I absolutely LOVE your art its inspired my art alot and helped me improve thank you for doing your thing!
thank youuu🍀, been using ✨clip studio paint✨ for most of the digital art, you can find the brushes here
also just started trying out ibis and so far? it's pretty good
I don't even have an ipad, but I know how amazing Procreate is. It was just announced they're making a full affordable animation program with a one time purchase of $20 and no subscription cost like holy shit????
paint be heavy these days
okay first off i LOVE your style and art works. which program do you use? and which brushes? your stuff looks so nice even when left uncolored and i always struggle leaving just my lineart. [genos voice] please tell me your secrets sensei!
I use Krita!! my beloved♡♡♡
yap session incoming... tl:dr at the very end of the post
it's a free, open source and non-profit software! if you try to download it on Microsoft or Steam there might be a charge but that goes as donations, plus it's only a one time fee and you get auto updates!
You can visit their official website if you want to download the app for free!
Mobile/Tablet is still in beta but it's been a lovely partner these past few years! I used to draw traditionally then digitalise my drawings by scanning and drawing them back on my fucked up phone screen with my finger! (I used medibangpaint at the time) (the passion on that era was unmatched). Now I'm drawing on my tablet using krita ever since they announced that they're making the app more mobile/tablet friendly!
(The learning curve is quite steep, there's always something new you'd learn with this app😭 but if you're patient and tweak around with the layout to something you're comfortable with, you'd love it to death, cause I sure did)
I mainly use one brush(Basic-2 Opacity) for both sketch and lineart, it changes depending if I want it textured or in a lighter opacity(?) but I usually go back to the first brush I use, it's one of the brush pack you'd get with the app
For colourblocking I use the lasso tool, and rendering using the built in watercolour brush, honestly the brush engine in Krita is kinda crazy... they're very customisable if you feel like the brush feels funky
If you want to play around and find more brushes to experiment on, you should visit their community, there you'd find some brush packs you can download for free!
TL:DR
Program used: Krita
Brushes used: Basic-2 Opacity, Ink-4 Pen Rough, Shape Fill (Lasso Tool), (For rendering, Wet Circle, Wet Knife, Wet Paint, Blender rake, Texture Hair)
