Firt + important thing : I don't want to force people to help me financially! . I spent some time on other artists' patreons to see what is more attractive on theirs. Some with way less followers have up to more 3 times more "patrons" and some with less patrons gain up to 5 times more. Why ? Tiers. Artists offer exclusives to patrons and the more you pay, the more you get. Logic! Except that I'm stupid and struggle a lot with that. Even if my drawings are helpful, I started so that people who want/can help me continue my work. I wanted everyone to have access to my drawings. I made printable files and comics that are available for free for everyone. I love making free stuff & sometimes draw for free for organizations. So my patreon is a lot less attractive than some sending prints or exclusives. I do offer something exclusive. People on patreon can read my ebooks and have a free discount on my print shop. I can't offer my books for free even if I'd love to. . Today, I'm super scared. I no longer have news from a regular client, a big paid project ended and my internet activity is now the only I have beside a little project with a lil organization. I will never stop sharing comics online but like very often, I have to think again about what I can do. How I can turn all that into money, how can I gain more so I can keep eating cucumber & more ? I don't fucking know. My mental illness doesn't allow me to work normally, I gave up jobs because of that (even part time jobs). In some months I might not be able to pay myself that ridiculous salary I gain every month. . I hate myself for coming to this but should I start offering exclusive content for people ? How much are you ready to pay monthly to see 2 comics each week ? What exclusives would you like to see/have ? My comics a day early with the initial sketch ? A Wallpaper monthly ? A printed postcard monthly ? Thanks for reading me. 🙏 Again, I don't want anyone to fell forced to help.

The translation is homemade because I want to pay a translator and not ask for free to a friend like I did for my comic (can't thank you enough Ludivine) since the book will be on sale someday. And I don't have the money yet. So please be nice if my words are a bit clumsy. I'll do it if the project of self publishing them becomes more concrete because I want to share these stories. But I need way more following for that. Because self publishing costs a lot, I won't have the network of a publisher and shops to help me sell it so it's hard to gain money with that or even have enough funding for the printing the books.
