A radiological medical study is the initial source of this piece. This artwork emphasizes the blinding light that reflects the prosthesis’ artificial material incarnated in a human body. The above intends to capture the "exasperated beauty" that emanates from this phenomenon.

The titles I use in each painting seek–like the great master did, Francis Bacon–, to be referrals far away from the emotion they can arouse in the observer. They are abstract names of tragedies.

“Deviation of the Spine, Study 8” shows the “desperate beauty”* of the inner structure of a sick human body.
