Decided to draw another one of my favorite bridal costumes from my beloved Palestine, this one is from Artas (أرطاس), a small village south of Bethlehem in the West Bank. This is a companion piece to this artwork I did a year ago.

I was today years old when I learned my Bride has never seen "Willow" (1988). I kind of lost my shit, I mean we've been together 16 years, you'd think I'd have noticed this failing before now. I gave her the Cliff Notes on Willow and she was like "Blah, I don't want to see it. It sounds like that Tom Cruse movie...with the horse. NO! Unicorn. It had a unicorn in it." I screamed "Legend! (1985) You freaking mean LEGEND!" "I guess" she flipped back to me over her shoulder. I broke, snapped right in two, by my one true love. I had to go low to feel like a whole man again. Holding back tears I said "And yet you love 'A Never Ending Story' (1984), Willow carries the same emotional weight with out having to kill Artas in the Swamp of Sadness!" Instantly I knew I'd gone to far but the words would not stop coming out of my face. She stopped dead in her tracks. The slow turn of her head towards me was reminiscent of Linda Blair's head turn in "The Exorcist" (1973) and in a voice like Tony Todd as "Candyman" (1992) she spears me through the heart by saying "The only reason "{Star Trek II:}The Wrath of Khan" (1982) was any good is because they blow up the Enterprise......... Bitch!" My world has fallen into chaos, everything is upside-down, nothing is real anymore.

Did a fun little pose study with one of my travelers, Artas, from @andromeda-six the other day and perhaps got carried away
Artas knew exactly what he was doing when he decided to train with his crush, he may not know how to fight but he has some other skills he can show off, since stretching before and after a workout is very important! Though this may be less about stretching and more about seeing how red he can make Cal go Bonus!!
