I titled this one "Praying with a child's wax wings"

religion played a huge role in my childhood, and adult me wanting to believe very badly that this was the thing that could save me. praying, with the promises I was fed as a child, that I would be saved from my pain.

That Christian God never answered me... and so I moved on. I couldn't adhere to a religion that made it my fault that I wasn't getting the help I needed growing up, my fault that I wasn't praying hard enough. this piece in an homage to all those suffering from religious traumas. No matter the type.

You are seen, you are heard, and your wish to be saved has been heard.

Drawing a loved one their Kemonomimi is so exhilarating. I got to draw and they get surprised by seeing it!! And she's so pretty!?
