It took me a while but here are the last pics of my trip to Greece. The good news is i'll be there again in 2 months, so i can bore you with way too many pics again afterwards 😂
These are from the National Archeological museum in Athens, that was SO HUGE we spent way too many hours in there, but contains some incredibly famous pieces that everyone has seen or heard of, like the mask of Agamemnon or the Antikythera mechanism.

Artemision (Temple of Artemis)
Delos, Greece
179 BCE
Ionic order
This area of the Sanctuary of Apollo is dedicated to his sister Artemis. The Hellenistic temple replaced and incorporated the remains of a 7th century B.C. temple which had itself been built over the remains of a Mycenaean building.
The temple had an east opening cella wider than long. Six prostyle Ionic columns on the eastern side in front of prolonged antae. The temple was set on a high base.
Inside the temple, a couple Kores (statues of women) were found, along with Mycenaean ivories, statues of lions and marble blocks with a honeycomb carving.
