Episode two is devastating. The village being torn apart like that, people screaming as everything goes up in flames. The poor kids hiding terrified only to be burned alive as their tribe watches.
We had already been shown that Tagon and his men were awful people, but even this still shocked me on my second watch.
So, let me get this straight… the Ago tribe needs pure iron to make swords strong enough to go against Arthdal, and they do not know how to purify it -
But instead of giving us… idk a heist to get the technique, or have someone try and try again until they finally, triumphantly, gets it right just in time for war, they have someone suddenly tell them that “oh there’s a giant pure iron meteorite at the bottom of a lake nearby” like… talk about anticlimactic.
Have I missed something? Cause I feel like that meteorite came out of nowhere.
I admit I was a bit worried about the main leads being switched out for this season, but both Lee Joon-gi and Shin Se-kyung are doing an excellent job 👏🏻👏🏻
The worldbuilding in Arthdal Chronicles is insane. It’s been so long since I last watched and I’m once again in awe of just how vast this world is.
Is it sometimes confusing because there is a lot to keep up with? Yes, but so are shows like Game of Thrones, so it’s still definitely worth a watch.
If they leave us like this only to cancel season three I will riot

I want to like this season so much, I really do, and it has nothing to do with the new actors, they’re doing such a good job. But the writing? The story? Season one was better by far. I’m so sad season two couldn’t live up to my hype.
They’re twins… I should have seen it coming they were going to trade places at some point. And yet it still somehow I was surprised when it happened
