Hello, I hope this works as I’m not actually using the app and the layout is kind of glitchy, but I just wanted to tell you how I really love all the poetry you post and talk about and as a poet myself I really appreciate finding new poets and essayists. Your posts and thoughts about poetry really helped me during these hell times and I really just wanted to wish you a good day, in return!

64 for the drabble list <3

So I learned drabbles are supposed to be exactly 100 words in length so I thought I’d try it that way! Let me know if you want something a bit longer! (Also requested by Anonymous)

64. "Yell, scream, cry, please, just say something, anything.” 

“Connor?”

The RK800 remains catatonic, staring straight ahead with a blank expression. He doesn’t move or otherwise acknowledge that he heard Markus’ words. Instead, Connor stays in his spot on the couch, LED blaring crimson. It’s spinning with such intensity that Markus is surprised the biocomponent hasn’t burned out. “You know you can talk to me, right,” the RK200 tries.

There’s no reply aside from the flicker of his LED. It was now hour six without a response. 

“Yell, scream, cry, please, just say something, anything.”

Connor turns to face Markus, voice dull. 

“What do you want me to say?”

I also want to draw something with north that is inspired by those lyrics bc dear g-d do those have her vibe,, they’re just, so great!! I’ve been rambling about North & Within temptation for a pretty long time so i’m SO glad that you feel the same way! Also, i really damn support and am excited for any other works you’ll decide to do, i love her so much and Within temptation just,,, suits her so well.

7. silent fury

Hank was no android, he didn’t have a body that could sustain inhuman amounts of damage or deliver a sharp killing blow. He didn’t have programming that made him lethal and calculating. So when he got angry, he didn’t have Connor’s ability to keep it under control or let it loose with precision.

All he had was the memory of them laughing when Connor missed some social cue, tossing their busy work off onto him, calling him ‘plastic’ when his back was turned. It wasn’t like Hank had never done those things before, but it was different now. 

Hank sulked into his whiskey, wishing they’d pick on someone who deserved it, like him.

I’m dropping in here again to say that i really love your north content!! jvhchchfuc. Can i ask, did you take inspiration from Within Temptation’s lyrics (specifially their song “Raise your Banner”) in some of your art? (If not, i recommend them, I think their music has a very North vibe to it)
