Aight... lemme be real with y’all here.

Ya ever think that the reason we like Lansoni may be because Lancelot talks and feels more like SA2 Shadow? Think about it...

He’s formal, he’s refined, he’s proper, he’s very confident, he’s thoughtful... and, most importantly, not all edge and no emotion?

I’d say the only difference between the two of them is Lance may be a bit more aggressive in battle... but other than that, he has this SA2 Shadow vibe that I can’t seem to get over. (and I adore the dynamic of SA2 Shadow and Sonic)

[[Doubly interesting bc I personally like the headcanon of SatBK taking place after SA2, so Sonic has lost Shadow, seemingly, permanently in his world. All he has in SatBK is Lance, and he doesn’t wanna let go of him QwQ]]
