4-Piece: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets' Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field.
So I have to ask what is your favorite relic armor? Like I love the original Red Mage relic armor and the Gunbreaker armor. While I am more a fan of the Shadowbringers Dark Knight Relic armor then I am of the others.
This is actually difficult as it can really depend on what race and gender one plays; I was furious when I realized on a female character the Dragoon lvl 50 armor was mangled. In a lot of cases, there are bits from the women's armor missing (Ninja 50) or they're in shorts or skirts instead of pants (Bard, RDM, MCH, etc).
If not on a Midlander--say, on a Roegadyn--things that are sleek on one model look chonky or puffy on another. Skirts get a wide hoop. You can tell that other races were secondary consideration.
I tend to like weapons and armor that are simple and look functional, yet also pretty. Also dyeable is handy.
I tend to like bits and pieces of AF gear. But if I was going to pick one on the whole it'd honestly be the current lvl 80 Gunbreaker outfit.
It's got a chestplate, armored boots, and the rest is leathers. It's functional for what the lore of the job is: bodyguards who rely on movement, deflection, and swift use of their blades. I just like the practicality of the outfit (compared to most MMO, let alone Final Fantasy, armor), the combination of light armor and leathers, which are protective even as just clothes, hence the popularity among some groups in the real world modern era.
It truly suits Thancred better than the other heavily armored tank jobs (and gear) for that reason; the speed and movement and flair of the class works for the character.
I'm also a fan of the current Fiend sets for the crafter jobs. A lot of the crafter AF overall is decently practical and neat looking, particularly Goldsmiths and Alchemists and usually Weavers. If it's trim and sleek fitting, I tend to like it.
Final Fantasy XIV Artifact Sets - Melee Dps Edition
A got a silly idea last week and traveled the world of Eorzea and Norvrandt and took pictures of each relic and their corresponding artifact armor. Lighting is still not the best with some of them, but here they are! Lots of images under the cut.
