Hey what does transmedicalist mean?
someone who believes that being transgender is a medical condition/mental illness. they generally ascribe to the western gender binary and the idea that there are “symptoms” necessary to being transgender, so like one of the big things theyre obsessed with is dysphoria and the notion that trans people all experience severe physical dysphoria and if you dont you are not trans
thats the basis which is already bad but the community itself is almost entirely men and like has a history of being misogynist and racist. some of them buy into eugenics (literally some extreme transmeds say that if there was a way to detect if a fetus was had trans disorder syndrome they would abort it because of how much it would ~suffer~). they also have a tendency to suck up to cis transphobes and will desperately bootlick for the approval of cishet men who hate trans people but will conditionally accept trans men if they hate themselves and their community enough.
