Plus PoTC isnt a one man show- other actors/actresses who arent abusers worked on it and they 100% deserve support!
That makes perfect sense, and I definitely acknowledge it. I generally do separate characters from actors, but I just wanted to make sure, you know? Yeah, I have that same viewpoint too. Tons of people worked on PotC. It wasn’t just one person that made it great, it was a whole team of people. I just wanted to make sure that it was still ethical to like it. I know some people have decided to get rid of their merch, stop doing cosplays, stop doing fanart, etc etc and while I understand that I just felt really conflicted because it’s had such an impact on my life.
