for me one of the most delightful parts of The Odyssey being made into a major blockbuster movie is the Discourse. people who know nothing about the original stories asking the dumbest questions possible and academics who devoted their careers to the original stories making the dumbest criticisms possible. beautiful, absolute cinema. stories like this really bring even the most different people together.
