Christmas break

I'm actually thinking of giving up Christmas and maybe just celebrating the solstice/NYE, but I'm not sure...

Anyway it's Christmas break and I have family coming over to the Netherlands, and then I fly back to Ireland with them for a few days! I'll catch up with my American family as they're visiting Dublin, and my Irish family and my Irish friends and yey! It will be fun.

I have left my computer offer a few days which is great because it's helping my brain to turn off and luckily one of the second years in college let me borrow her piano keyboard so I'm making nice headway on my theory revision...

So hopefully I'll be prepared to release something next year, as I am workshopping performances and learning about spectatorship in my masters.

Overall I hope inevitably to be a great performer, integrating with my media of visuals and sound...

I'm also open to other elements of atmosphere and performative quality.

Well that's it, enjoy the holidays I'm going to take a few days off! Peace!

A Look at the Week Ahead

Tomorrow, I pick up some loaned sound recording equipment

I am creating a ‘blind scenography’ experience, enabling me to focus just on sound as an experiential, atmospheric tool.  I feel that this is the experiment I wish to compose right now.  It is fascinating me...

What else..

Really busy week again, I really want to go to see the Ryoji Ikeda exhibition in the Eye in Amsterdam, and I want to visit The Lost Object’s studio also.  So maybe that’s my weekend next weekend...

Annnd....  A friend is coming to Utrecht this week so I am really looking forward to doing some socialising (Irish Style hehehe)

And...  Hey I have a minute before my work curfew cuts out?!
