I've always enjoy drawing the good ol judge. I wish I would have had the chance to do more covers for Judge Dredd than just the one I did for #idw #the_blessed_earth. The last few days have been super productive! I've pencilled 5 pages in 3 1/2 days and I feel like I am at 150% of my usual output. Here are two panels I really like and that I was anxious to ink. The first panel is a nod to the great Jorge Zaffino, because that panel screamed for a JZ sort of look. This is technically another first timer. Although I have drawn the joker some times before, I haven't drawn this version of everyone's favorite mass murdering clown :) took me less than 20 minutes. I used a pencil with a longer tip, which prevents me from adding too many details into the pencil drawing.
