Hi! My name is Ewa 💟 It is pronounced the same way you say 4Eva-slang for forever 😊 I share this with you because I was bullied growing up because of my name so I started telling people to call me Eva and I spelled my name Eva until my junior year of high school. Anyway, I am a child of an abusive father and two abusive adult relationships. I am sharing this with you because I wanted to tell you that art saved my life throughout my entire life. It is the thing that comforted me when I was a child, a lost teenager and discarded adult. Art has helped me to not become an addict. I am addicted to creating and making connections with others through my art and honesty. I do not care if someone is reading this and thinking, she just wants us to feel bad for her... keep scrolling because you are not my people. My people are healers, understanding, empathetic, raw, open, honest, loving, caring, warriors and most of all people that care for others. I am a survivor of Domestic Violence What does that mean? It means I have been: Sexually abused (raped) Emotionally abused Physically abused Financially abused Psychologically abused Abused in every way imaginable I survived this and since 2016 I have struggled with mental health issues. These are issues I deal with because of what I have survived. At times, it feels like I am still being abused because of the residual pain. But, there is HOPE 💟 Art has saved my life and it is my forever love, I create every piece with love and attention! Before I package a beauty to ship to its forever home, I give it a little kiss and smile because it is a part of me 💟 My studio is me, it is my sanctuary, it is the place that heals me. I don’t need a break or vacation from it because it is the one place where I truly feel at home 💟 I welcome you to the inside of my art studio where I create pieces of me to heal and share with the world 💟 Much Love to you all!
