my mom got into crocheting and knitting and does a lot of test runs before committing to an idea. this was her quick go at a "cat." she said she accidentally made the ugliest mouse in existence and was gonna throw him out. I asked to see him. she sent me a photo and I nearly cried.

he is mine now and his name is arturito and I love him more than the sun's sweet kiss on a clear summer sky. he is a small, raggedy, misshapen barely-a-concept of a man and he has entire constellations in his eyes.
