I don't know how Tumblr works, but hey, here's a presentation of my primary main character, Caden III of Aloria! Accompanied by a beautiful illustration by Snow124 on Instagram ~
Caden is the third born to the King and Queen of Aloria, but because his grandfather was a bit obesessed with "keeping the bloodline clean", his older siblings died before he was born. Isn't incest just a hoot?
When Caden was born, he was very weak, and his mother sat up and prayed to the Gods to save him. The God of Air, Shea, heard her and blessed him with life, turning his eyes purple as a mark of the gods' good will towards the young prince.
Queen Inia died when Caden was only six, and filled with grief his father began to neglect him. Caden found comfort in his own relfection, starting to refer to himself as "We" to include his friends, and he grew colder and more selfish as the years came and went. His beauty earned him the name of the Alorian Crown Jewel.
Because of all that, Caden hasn't been raised as a proper Crown Prince, but hey, who cares? He doesn't, no, it's fine, all is fine, it's fine!
