for the LPAUAU ask game, I think that one of the Hermits should respawn where Zloy is the first to find them. Cue shenanigans where Zloy is like "don't you dare blow my cover" while he shoves them under the bed before Pix finds out, because whoever they are they definitely aren't human, and unlike Zloy they don't have the time or skill to learn to camouflage themself before Pix gets back.

Pix thinks that Zloy's hiding like, a very quiet dog. And he's a little confused as to why Zloy thinks he has to hide the dog from him, but whenever he's alone he starts hunting for hidden dog food and calling "here boy! girl? idk, come here puppy!"

For maximum funny, the Hermit Zloy is hiding is Ren.

Pix doesn't really think of it much at first, he just kinda figures Zloy's apartment doesn't allow dogs. He's not really sure why Zloy's hiding said dog from him, but Zloy's always been weird. This is nothing new.

So Pix kinda figures it's one of those small dogs, assuming it's there at all.

And then.

And then.

He goes into Zloy's apartment while he's out, because he needs to grab something, and he opens the door and finds this enormous wolf asleep on the floor.

maia and clary truly don't deserve the writing in 3x14. why does maia said that she's confused?? and even worse her happy thoughts is about their past even when jordan triggered so much that she had to leave town. so saying her happy thoughts is about them is bs. and clary deserves to be free from the incest. I feel so bad for her and there're ppl actually mad of her for not letting jace kissed her like wtf?? and jace had the nerve to kiss her after she just told him too. I feel so bad for them

To be honest, I actually quite liked Jace in the episode. Yes, him going for a kiss by the end was kind of “dude, no. read the room”-ish after Clary just talked about how violated she felt for Jonathan kissing her while using Jace’s face. But that checks out with Jace’s emotional intelligence. Which is not the most sophisticated out of all the characters, you know? Jace saw Clary hurting and wanted to make her feel better but he went the wrong way about it. What I’m glad happened next was Clary saying no and Jace being 100% supportive and respectful of her wishes, whatever they were. Clary got to control how they interacted and I appreciate that, especially since it is such a stark contrast to Jonathan’s invasive and controlling ways.

So, the logical conclusion here is that Jace should get knocked out more often. It does wonders for him. Also, here’s a wild thought: enough with the incest. I don’t think I have to elaborate on that, but like, how about we just don’t have incest? Just... none of it? Sounds good to me.

Now, Maia’s story in this episode was, to put it mildly, tasteless. And not because Maia was literally stuck with Jordan slowly bleeding to death and saying his last words while she was on the verge of having a panic attack every five minutes. That would’ve been fine and a very TVesque way to show Maia dealing with her unresolved issues. Maximum drama. 

But there was a way to do that and not dismiss Maia’s trauma for being abandoned as her being “just confused and sad” and saying it “doesn’t matter now” that Jordan is dying. Jordan dying doesn’t redeem his actions. He’s done nothing to warrant Maia’s forgiveness. In fact, he continues to abandoned everyone as soon as things become tough. So, no thank you, show. I am not on board with the abuse victim dismissing her own valid feelings just because the situation is forcing her to. 

That is not to say I would’ve liked to see Maia go “shut up and die, Jordan”. I absolutely don’t want that on her conscious. I was actually happy with that scene up until that dismissive line from Maia. Because up until then, whenever Jordan apologized, Maia acknowledged his apology but deflected it. She basically declined to comment, which was great. Let Jordan apologize for his mistakes in his figurative death bed. Maia doesn’t have to forgive him, though, and she can still be gracious about it. So, yeah, I was really liking this:

Jordan: It's the least I could do for getting you into this mess.Maia: It wasn't your fault.Jordan: I meant for turning you into a wolf in the first place.Maia: We're supposed to be thinking happy thoughts, remember? Besides, I know you didn't mean it. So, there's no point in getting into that right now.Jordan: Abandoning you after I turned you I'll never forgive myself for that.Maia: We don't have to talk about it.

This is the exact frame of mind Maia needs to get to in order to move on. I also would’ve liked it if, instead of saying that she forgives him, Maia thanked Jordan for apologizing. Maybe his recognition of his wrongdoings, more than his recognition of how guilty he feels about them, could’ve brought some closure to Maia. That way, their forced interaction wouldn’t be about pushing Maia to forgive Jordan. It would’ve been about pushing Maia to have this conversation. Whatever she got from it would be hers to accept or dismiss once they were both out of that room.

That all said, I’m glad it was Simon who put an end to that story and rescued Maia. Simon is very much Maia’s biggest and most supportive relationship. I’m glad that the embodiment of that came to her rescue, effectively proving that Maia is not alone even if she thinks she is.

Snarling, she showed fangs and pawed in the air, but she didn’t attack. She had to wait for the one who she served.

Something to keep in mind

Frank Zhang is one of the most powerful in the seven. He's willed, strong and always put the others first. Yet he is insecure and shy, so i think it's up to the fandom to remark how awesome he is I really love the guy.
