"One day while John was recording, the studio receptionist brought in a litter of kittens. John immediately knew what I was thinking and said, "No, we can't, we're traveling too much." I picked up a black one and put him over my shoulder. When I came back into the recording room with him, John rolled his eyes and said, "Now you've done it! Now you've done it!" I had a moment of wondering what I'd done, when he came over, started petting him, and said, "Well I guess we have to have a cat." At the end of the day when we were leaving the studio, John asked if there were any left. We went back to get the only kitten that remained — a white one that no one wanted because she was so loud. John christened them Major and Minor. He loved those cats. They reminded him of his days with Aunt Mimi (whom he playfully referred to as the "Cat Woman")."

I think I’ve been around too long for you to get rid of me 😅. Here until the end of the line pal 😂 💗- 🌷
Ahahahah this is very true. Thank you, flower💕💕
Oh the gifset is wonderful ❤💛💚💙💜 thank you for creating it.. Now, because I am @curiousnonny , do you have any link to beginner's guide to creating gif? And what's your advice for people who want to try in creating gif?
Thank you so much 💕
Awww, thank you!! ♥️♥️ I didn't have a beginner's guide to creating gifs, but I've made a quick one to outline the basics for you behind the cut!
As for advice, I'd say just do it. Just open up photoshop and add some adjustment layers and keep going for as long as you find it exciting.
13 to 5: “Tell me I’m wrong.” 8)
Five reclined on a deck chair with a bottle of vintage Corellian Red, watching his squad encourage one another through a series of routine exercises and unarmed drills. Watching most of his squad, to be precise, since Thirteen was beside him nursing his own tall cocktail through a neon green bendy straw, watching him through lazy, half-lidded eyes.
“You’ve gone soft.”
“Excuse me?” The look Five shot Thirteen was anything but, and the lanky Cipher had to grin at the severe expression directed his way.
“Gooey,” Thirteen elaborated, with a poke toward the Watcher’s stomach that was soundly slapped away. “All warm and fuzzy on the inside.” “And exactly what, pray tell, has led you to reach this thrilling conclusion?” Five did an admiral job of sounding bored, but the way he set down his bottle and subtly shifted his attention was telling.
Thirteen tilted his head, observing Five in silence for a time, speaking up only when he thought the other man was about to snap. “You watch him differently than you used to. There’s less…” he gestured vaguely around Five’s face with his free hand. “...blatant disgust? Hostility? Mistrust? Indifference? Tell me if I’m getting warm.”
Five’s lip curled in a sneer. “He’s earned himself a fraction more of my trust than I’d have originally credited him with being capable of, if that’s what you’re talking about. But it’s still largely your merit that earns him his keep.”
Thirteen found himself grinning a little more broadly. “I won’t argue that. But I think there might be something more to it.”
“Do you now.”
“I think that maybe you’ve come to realise that a few cybernetics don’t make someone any less of a man than they used to be,” Thirteen spoke casually, daring to do something he hadn’t in some long time, as he reached across with his glass to tap gently against Five’s gloved hand and acknowledge his Watcher’s replacement limb with the distinct chime of glass against metal.
He wasn’t quite sure why he did it. The fact that Five didn’t immediately lash out but instead thinned his lips and stared at him with the shocked indignance of an offended nexu, however, made him feel bold. “I also think,” Thirteen went on, gazing thoughtfully at the rim of his glass. “That maybe you’ve learned a few other things in the last little while. About taking people for granted. Or maybe about… what you risk, when you push things too hard.”
He flicked a cautious glance back toward Five, and found him caught up in a frightening stare that, perhaps for the first time in his life, made him truly grateful that the Watcher was not blessed with control of the Force. He did not particularly care to be an example of where lightning might strike twice.
Five’s bright, honey-brown gaze had never looked so intense, his breath achingly slow and measured as he silently dared Thirteen to speak further and more plain.
Thirteen stared back, letting himself feel the gravity of Five’s barely bridled rage, his fiercely compelling silence, and then slowly lifted his chin. “Tell me I’m wrong.”
Five’s left eye twitched.
Then he elegantly brought himself to his feet, and made a great show of dusting off his sleeve and fussing over his nails as though the conversation simply no longer mattered. “If that is the sort of drivel that comes out of you after a single strong drink, I daresay I am not the one who’s gone soft.”
Thirteen watched him leave, and once the Watcher was safely back indoors he finally let go of his breath, easing comfortably back into his seat with a private, smug little grin.
Well. Five hadn’t said he was wrong.
